"Wine Spectator" this week announced their top 10 wines of 2007 and Two Hands 2005 Bella’s Garden Barossa Valley Shiraz was #5 at 95 Points! We have the Two Hands Bella’s in Stock!! Supple, silky texture with huge personality.

Two Hands partners Richard Mintz and Michael Twelftree have excelled with their Garden Series, six regional Shiraz bottlings made with purchased grapes. Bella's Garden, from Barossa, is often the best of them. Shiraz for the 2005 Bella's came from nine sites, picked relatively early to preserve freshness and acidity. To better highlight the terroir, the wine receives only 20 percent new French oak, significantly less than most top-tier Barossa Shiraz bottlings. Australia $65

  • L’Ecole 41 ’05 Apogee $50 Single vineyard blend from Pepperbridge Vineyard. A blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, and cabernet franc, has spicy aromas of nutmeg and cloves, earthy hints of sweet tobacco and leather, and dark fruit flavors of black cherry, plum and cassis.
  • L’Ecole 41 ’05 Perigee $50…it shows smooth, silky red cherry and blackberry fruit, with rich floral and spicy aromas of cinnamon and mocha on a vivid, earthy mineral finish.

Cellar 46 is offering its first 2005 Bordeaux futures opportunity this week with a wine offering from Cannon Wines Unlimited. We have 7 beautiful Bordeaux wines ranging from $17.00 to $65.00.

We have a unique opportunity to have 4 bottles shipped to us from France so that we may taste these wines prior to them arriving in the US. I have only one of each bottle so be sure to come early and get a chance to try these wines!

Medium to full-bodied with supurb concentration, moderately sweet tannin, and a hint of espresso in its finish, it may be the finest Fonplegade produced in over three decades.”)
